Summery: She seemed far beyond his reach…could love draw them together? For years shy animator Nathan has carried a torch for Brooke, the beautiful and dynamic Director of Development at their animation studio, even creating B-Girl, a comic-book heroine in her likeness.

When a new project throws the two of them together, lovestruck Nathan finally seizes his moment – only to find Arnauld, head of the animation studio, claiming exclusive rights to Brooke’s affections
.
But Nathan, it turns out, is not giving up on his dreams so easily. With inspired determination, he sets out to be the super hero of wooing his girl. Threatened by his persistence, Arnauld plays dirty – only to spark an uprising at the studio that unleashes the sort of havoc only a building full of frustrated animators can create. While Nathan pulls out all the stops to win his B-girl, Brooke has to choose. Should she pursue the sparkling career that has taken her years to build…or follow her heart?

“There you go with the breasts too big again. I rub my eraser over the sketchbook page and brush the crumbs away before reworking my lines over the ghosted image.”

Why I read this book
The story sounded interesting, I had never read book where the main characters was an animator..

My thoughts

This was my face for the entire time I spent reading Animate Me…

This book was seriously adorable, from the character's to the plot line; all of this book was just to cute. At the beginning of the book we meet Nathan, a nerdy artist who works as an artist animating TV shows (He is seriously swoon worthy). He also spends his free time helping out in the local comic
book store, this is where he meets our leading lady Brook. Brook also works for the same animating company but in a higher position, She never really noticed Nathan until they meet at the comic book store, but Nathan sure had noticed Brook before hand, and was already harbouring a little crush on the blue eyed beauty. . .

As the two start talking and grow closer, Nathan hatches a plan to make Brook see him as more than a friend, Craziness insures. This book is the perfect summer read, with romance, cuteness and with just the right amount of drama to keep things from getting repetitive.

I loved the use of illustrations in this book, they really brought the story to life and gave it more dimensions. Ruth Clampett’s main characters (Nathan and Brook) were so charming and lovely, I was really sad when I got to the end of this book. I would recommend that you give this book a read.

Overall Impressions – Seriously Cute

Amazing light read, this is the perfect book to get you out of annoying reading slump.
